Although it wasn’t planned but because of difficult circumstances, the last outing of this year’s programmed events happened to be recorded by the BBC.

Walking with the SHEROES were the engagement officer from NNAP, Mandy Roberts and Tess one of the Park rangers.

We started off at The Sill and took a walk up to Steel Rigg with Jo Lonsdale accompanying us with her mic and recorder asking us questions about the project and what it means for BAME people to be out in the countryside.

I’m not sure how long the recording will be around, it just went out this morning on BBC Radio 4, Farming Today’s programme, so listen quickly here.
