The Visible Group – A group of LGBTQAI+ Refugee and Asylum Seekers Outdoors
Visible formed in 2020, under lockdown as a means of connecting and supporting each other through a difficult period of time. With the support of Earth Sea Love, Visible were able to meet for the first time face to face outside in 2024 with the Feel the Green Project. The group were able to spend time amongst the trees together.

Walking and gathering, eating and playing disk golf, the people from Visible were able to come together and let down their burdens for a period of time in the forests and words. Gathering plants and flowers to later create natural dyes from to create images and text from was a way for the group to explore their feelings and worries in a safe and expressive way.
I enjoyed making our visual journals and having something to take away to remind me of my time out in nature. together – RD
